Weekly Round Up #6

Hey chica's,
Hope you've all had a fab bank holiday weekend.
Mine as consisted of:
Karaoke*Royal Wedding*Roast dinner*Baking*Time with the boy*Dog walking*Supermarket shopping*Taxi rides*Falling over*cocktails*pimms*cheese toasties*

I came home to find these on my door step, One of my neighbours (or indeed the stork) must of dropped them off, how kind! I've never spoken to them before, so this really touched me (also a little creeped out as they obviously know only 2 people live here, stalker?)
Fudge & seaside rock from my parents & lil bro from there little holiday.

My 'Slut Pig' Mug came! I couldn't resist buying this, i can't wait to drink tea from it. Can be found at http://www.spottybutton.co.uk/
My folks had brought a caravan at butlins at the beginning of the week, so i was going to tell you about me and my friends impending trip there this weekend, however the owner of the caravan called to say that she sold it to someone else (i know, bitch!), even though offer had been accepted and deposits paid. Safe to say we are all disappointed. Think the owner may regret doing this to my mum (she is a bit of a battleaxe bless her) as she has now started legal action against her for breach of contract. whoops on the owners point!
A sneak preview of a post to come shortly, it involved drinking 'pot tails' yes cocktails in a tea pot!

What did you all get upto this weekend?

Ice cream cone cupcakes

Just a quickie, i discovered the lovely blog, Show, Tell, Share and i have absolutely fallen in love with these ice cream cone cupcakes! Such a fab idea!

It says to fill the cups 3/4 full and bake. I would suggest if your feeling a little lazy, just use a packet of devil food cake mix, makes amzing cupcakes! Add a little vanilla frosting and pop a cherry on top and viola super easy and super impressive cupcakes!

I'm definitely gonna give this a whirl at some point.

If you get a chance pop over to Show, Tell, Share. They have some fab tutorials

Weekly Roundup #3

Hey lovelies,

Hope you've all had a fab week, i've had a quite relaxed week really. Looking back it does feel like it has been more jam packed then usual.

001 - Cupcakes, got at the Vintage Fair @ Norwich's st Andrews Hall. Really enjoyed myself and had a good old rummage! Flavours - Chocolate, lemon and raspberry, really really yummy
002 - Childrens watering can, this little beaut is from Asda and was a bargain £2,50. I plan to plant some cute little flowers in it and have it displayed on my kitchen windowsill

003- Still loving painting my nails. I have gone nail varnish crazy! Currently buying lots of Konad to have a go at, got the polishes and stamper but i am awaiting delivery of a image plate.

004 - German beer drinking songs - it made me giggle!!

005- i've turned it into this gorgeous bowl...how awesome! Cost me a grand total of a £1..! Check my last post for a tutorial if you fancy giving it a go

I hope you all have a fab week

New Feature? Weekly Round up

Hey Lovelies, How have you all been keeping?

Well i'm thinking of doing a bit of a weekly feature, What do you all think? I love reading other bloggers weekly round ups, so thought i would have a weekly round up inspired post, Not sure which day it will be on, would like to keep it the same day each week, so will see how it goes i suppose.
So my week this week...

1. Lots of shopping in Manchester, Namely Afflecks Palace (Which i love!) Arndale Center and Selfridges

2. After having a fab few days in Manc land, we had a not so great journey home. Hank the Tank (my car) decided that he didn't need an exhaust anymore and decided to dump it! A little while later we were carrying on with our journey on the back of a recovery truck, URGH cold, hard, uncomfy and Bleugh. A journey i do on a regular basis and usually only takes 4hours took 7 FRIGGIN HOURS. I was glad to be home, thats not sure.

3. Cupcakes, yes more! But more importantly, my new cupcake stand. The boy got it me from Paperchase as it was love at first sight, so therefore i had to bake cupcakes to put on them. (Double choc in case you were wondering, oh and check out my Emma Bridgewater tea, coffee and sugar canistars in the background, bargain price of £2 each from my local QD store)

4. Trying to grow herbs from seed, i've never tried before so we shall see how that one goes! They're currently 2 for a fiver in tesco.

5. My new coffee table. £15 from Ikea...BARGAIN! We've been using an old tv stand as a subsitute coffee table since we moved in to the new house in November, so whilst in manchester, we had a little trip to Ikea, me and Ikea is still quite a new discovery, owing to the fact our nearest one is a 3hr drive away, but if you look around my house now you would think i was a little bit of an Ikea freak (which i probably am) Hey no one else has stuff from Ikea where we live, so it's still cool!

6. Gig Going - Went and saw my friends band The Guzzards. Check them out here Awesome drunk night had by all.

7. and finally EBAY - I've gone on a massive ebay listing effort since it's been free listing this weekend. I haven't sold anything on there for a long time. Once upon a time back in the land of shop owning, i used to make just about all my money on there but alas, i've revived my love for ebay.

Have a fab week guys and gals

Party whore

I went to a fab party at the weekend, my cousin Louise's 30th Birthday, i got to stay in a lovely hotel room, drink free wine, lap up the free rose wine fountain, choccie fountain, popcorn machine and candy floss factory! Not to mention the entertainment, dancing and spending lots of lovely time with family i don't get to see very often.

I got absolutely wasted, which i do not condone and is very very silly of anyone (wink wink) and suffered for it the following day and the 3hour drive home. Yes i did have to stop the car once or twice so i could ummm see my breakfast again. Luckily i wasn't driving.

Now to leave you with a few pics from the night  courtesy of http://www.carrieaustin.com/

What i wore...(my budget outfit!)

I couldn't afford anything new, and didn't have the time to search for anything either. I did however find this little gem in the back of my wardrobe, that had only been worn once before and then forgotten. Please let me know what you think of it and i will let you into a little secret (it cost about £8 in the sale!!)

Red satin dress - George @ Asda
Shrug thing - Primark
Shoes & Rings - Evans

(My tan is courteousy of St Moritz, you can see the final colour i came!)

Me & Bro                                                             Me, Sis, Bro and 'Mamma'
Face shot - Slightly merry, hence the pose!

Sorry for overloading you with pics, just wanted to share the amazing night with you.

Did you all have a lovely weekend?

I have had a hellish start to the week, with waiting nearly 3hrs for breakdown (my car is poorly sick) and not getting in until half 8! My school even tried to lock the gates on me!

But finally home and safe!

Have a good evening all, i want to sleep and not wake up until Saturday

Tata for now
