Tampax Night 2011

Apologies for the title, a bit gruesome, private joke between me & my girlies.

Hiyas and all that, how are you all? Good? Hope so! I am, work as completely knocked me for six this week. I hereby declare that all weekends should consist of 4 days, wouldn't that be nice?

So i went and played in the good old city of NARRRWICH (Norwich) Saturday night, a new karaoke place as just opened called GoGo's. It's part of the Project Nightclub, I brought a group package on group on for a private booth and cocktails. Good news is that i brought 2! Now karaoke is not normally my thing, especially not in public places (singstar..yes) but with a few cocktails down my neck i was the new Mariah Carey!
 (What i wore- Dress-H&M, Cardigan - George, Tights/Jewellery/bag - Primark, Belt - New Look, Shoes - Evans)

 3am and still going strong!
I had to show you my eyelashes, 10 pairs off ebay for 99p! I brought these ages a go but haven't had a chance to wear them. So easy to apply, love them!

Best thing about the night was definitely being in a private booth most of the time, no one sees you fall over!
Have you got a place like this near you? YAY or NAY? Would you go?

Ahoy There Sailor - Nautical Overload!

Hey lovelies, I found this lurking in my blog post & it never got published. So today you get 2 posts in a row :)

Excuse the expression on the old face, the hair was attacking my face!

I've realised that i never tend to show you my shoes in posts, mainly due to not having a tripod and being able to do full length shots is beyond me & my photographic abilty, i think my outfit matchings my toenails beautifully!

Flutter like a butterfly, Dream like you can fly + Day 6

Hiya lovelies, how are you all? I am feeling a little bit worse for wear, after a few too many vodkas last night. Note to self, if you haven't drank for a month, you will be a billy lightweight and it will hurt! Just been down to a lil cafe on the beach for a fry up (only place to eat on a Saturday!) It was either going to kill or cure, and i don't think it's done either!

I'm feeling rather old at the moment, and have been reminiscing about being 18 again, where i was out every night, honestly i don't miss it! I miss getting dolled up, the whole getting ready routine, where me & my sis would share a bottle of lambrini while doing our make up etc, how classy of us :) Still to this day, i love lambrini.

So yesterday daytime i spent the day in my pjs, watching crappy tv, online shopping & cooking chops with minted gravy, it was rather delish, i sat at our new dining table to eat, again i felt like a proper grown up!

Oh yeah check out my new hair, well when i say new, all i have done is chuck a dark red dye on it again.

me & a couple of beauts!

(What i wore -Primark butterfly top, H&M bodycon skirt, F&F leggings, TU belt, RI Necklace, H&M rings, stupid expression - my own!)

Day 6 - A hairstyle you would like to have
I love everything about this hair, from the colour to the cut to the length. It's slightly ombered with a ginger tint and looks so shiny! In fact i want to steal it and glue it onto my hair, then maybe just maybe i would look like Miss Fox.

Also because i realise that, that hair above is not too far away from my hair (minus the spilt ends, but it's long & brown) i've chosen another style i would love if only i was a little braver!

I will tell you all a little secret - I am Petrified, yes PETRIFIED of the hairdressers. It stems from a really bad haircut when i was 16, think bowl and i haven't been to a hairdresser since. I trim & colour my own hair, but i think a restyle is a lil out of my reach! I have vowed to conquer this fear before i turn 25 (only 3 months away)

Maxi Moo Moo & Day 5

Hi ya lovelies,

So i've had a lovely but busy week this week, so much so i lost track of the days at some point. Yesterday i went and spent the day with my yummy mummy friends & gorgeous lil babies, including a 4 week old baby girl that is just the cutest! So we went for lunch & a play at the local brewsters before heading back to my sisters house for a lil play in the garden.
Grumpy face!
Top - George
Maxi Dress (worn as skirt) - George
Belt - George
Cardi, Sunglasses & Necklace - Primark

The total cost of this outfit is under £30! Bargain or what? I love the colours on this dress and it being a maxi dress from the ordinary range and not the tall range means it's not long enough, all is not lost though as i've been wearing it as a skirt! Win!

Day 5 - A Photograph of your pet

Here he is, his name is Flash Gordon, but we tend to call him doodle for some reason. He's a 4y.o Staffie that we adopted of my sister 3 years a go. We absolutely love him (he is our surrogate baby) and is one of the softest dogs going. Staffies definitely don't deserve the bad press they get, not everyone that owns one is a chav! You can see my rant about this here 'Not the average staffie owner'

Ohh La La

2 posts in 2 days, you lucky bloggettes!! Thought i would share my Friday work outfit with you all, it's a little simple, but hey it was for work. What i am really trying to do here is waste as much time before i head to the gym, i really need to go but i have no motivation! Grrr

Good news is that the boy finishes work today at 2pm and doesn't have to be in again til Monday, hoping it will give us some much needed time together. Anyone got any cheap suggestions of what we can do?

Ohh La La Top - F&F
Denim Shirt - George
Treggings - M&S

You all may notice my love of supermarket brands, and this is because they always have a great selection of plus sizes, i'm guarenteed that something will fit, which is not always the case of the high street.

Well anyway i'm of to banish that cupcake belly at the gym, ooohhh before maybe baking and filling it again. YUM

It's a shallow life, but someone has gotta live it

Hey guys, how are you all today? Bit of a late post i know, but i had a cheeky disco nap when i got in from work. Only thing missing was the disco itself! Roll on payday!

How lush as the weather got this week and last? I love the summer, i always feel a lot more inspired in the clothes department. Time to brush off that summer wardrbe i think! I literally cannot wait until i can get the good old flip flops out! I've finally banished the UGG boots under the stairs and have broken out the ballet pumps and brouges once more.

I went to a fish & chips quiz night held at my school to raise some funds. Was a funny evening had by all. Here's what i wore (Sorry for the lack of face, i don't have a tripod so was balancing it on a ledge)

Swallow dress - George
Legginss - F&F
Bracelets - Primark (& festival wristbands, yes i'm a scruff!)
Glasses necklace - Ebay
Scarf - Market
Dog - Models Own

On a positive note, i'm feeling really good about myself, i've seemed to have lost a bit of weight, although i'm only going to weigh myself once a month, so i'm not too sure how much yet. I've headed back to the gym and am actually enjoying it again, shock horror!!

Have you dared to wear flip flops yet?

Why is it not Friday yet?

Evening lovelies, Hope your all fine and dandy, i know i am :)

Work outfit
Stripe body - George
Cardi - primark
Treggings - M&S
Boots - Primark
Scarf - Market
Belt - Ben de lisi

Today i got to eat cake and go swimming, all at work of course, i'm pretty sure i don't have a life outside of work at the moment.

As i mentioned in my last post, i have started to grow my nails, now they were bitten down to the point of painful. It's been an habit that i've always had since i was little and i have never EVER been able to grow them before. I would just like to announce that...

I'm a nail painter convert! i love painting my nails, i feel really proud of them every time i look down. The problem i had was that i only owned 3 nail polishes (hangs head in shame) and those colours were far too gawdy and bright for my nails at this length. So i have been on a mini nail polish haul on ebay (ok i might have gone to extremes!) i will post the colours up soon!

I'll tell you a secret, but shhh & OOTD

Evening lovelies, i've managed to survive the first day back at school after half term, even more impressive i've done it on 5hours sleep. I always worry the night before, even though there's not much to worry about. Anyways enough of the boring, more of the secrets...

Beauty secrets of Kylie Dee

I thought i would share a couple of my beauty secrets, they are pretty simple but effective all the least.

1. Use rizla papers as oil control papers - Can you remember when the oil control papers/wipes were such a big thing (or was this just me?) Anyway i found a cheaper and effective way to remove shine from your face anywhere and anytime. Just wipe over your face and viola prepare to cringe at your oiliness.

2. Always store your face wipes upside down - when stored the traditional all the moisture seeps down to the bottom, leaving the top wipes dry. Turning them upside down ensures that the one you want to use is nice and moist.

3. Use conditioner on your legs when shaving - if you've run out of shaving gel then don't worry! replace it with conditioner, it leaves your legs supersoft afterwards.

4. Hairspray the face - Lightly spray (and i mean lightly, otherwise Hello spots!) the face with hairspray when your make up is complete, helps fix it into place and is also much cheaper on your bank balance then purchasing a separate product.

6. Vaseline the feet - Say what? yep you heard me, if you have new shoes that you know are going to blister and hurt your tooties, slather on the vaseline before you leave the house and viola no blisters for you! I swear by this everytime i buy a new pair of shoes, it doesn't mark or stain your shoes at all. Keep a tin handy in case you need to reapply.

What's your beauty secret? Do any of you already do any of these?

OOTD
(Well a kinda half hearted rubbish one- but hey who cares!)

I also wanted to show you robot man, i brought him in Manchester last week and am completely smitten with him.

and excuse the crappy picture, it was taken after a long long day at work today but i wanted to show you my new kimono, a bit of a bargain from tesco!

URGH

Hope you've all had a lovely day, i'm now off to go soak in a bath filled with lush goodies

Do you like Pina colado?

I do!

Hey there ladies,

Hope you are keeping well, I had a majorly busy weekend, consisting of swimming, cocktails, singstar, local pub, lots more alcohol, bacon sarnies, asda and cleaning! Fun hey? Well some of it was, some wasn't.

Darren has hurt his back, so i have turned into nurse/slave...fingers crossed it gets better soon. I don't like having to do anything. I have also discovered that i have no patience or sumpathy for him, i feel a bit mean nice, will try to be nicer!

Asda Rose Tunic Dress - Asda
Denim Shirt - Asda
Leggings - Tesco
Biker Boots - Primark
Scarf - Market
Necklace - Made from broken jewels

This was Friday night's outfit, as you can see i was a bit supermarket clothing crazy that night!

Did you all have a lovely weekend?

Party whore

I went to a fab party at the weekend, my cousin Louise's 30th Birthday, i got to stay in a lovely hotel room, drink free wine, lap up the free rose wine fountain, choccie fountain, popcorn machine and candy floss factory! Not to mention the entertainment, dancing and spending lots of lovely time with family i don't get to see very often.

I got absolutely wasted, which i do not condone and is very very silly of anyone (wink wink) and suffered for it the following day and the 3hour drive home. Yes i did have to stop the car once or twice so i could ummm see my breakfast again. Luckily i wasn't driving.

Now to leave you with a few pics from the night  courtesy of http://www.carrieaustin.com/

What i wore...(my budget outfit!)

I couldn't afford anything new, and didn't have the time to search for anything either. I did however find this little gem in the back of my wardrobe, that had only been worn once before and then forgotten. Please let me know what you think of it and i will let you into a little secret (it cost about £8 in the sale!!)

Red satin dress - George @ Asda
Shrug thing - Primark
Shoes & Rings - Evans

(My tan is courteousy of St Moritz, you can see the final colour i came!)

Me & Bro                                                             Me, Sis, Bro and 'Mamma'
Face shot - Slightly merry, hence the pose!

Sorry for overloading you with pics, just wanted to share the amazing night with you.

Did you all have a lovely weekend?

I have had a hellish start to the week, with waiting nearly 3hrs for breakdown (my car is poorly sick) and not getting in until half 8! My school even tried to lock the gates on me!

But finally home and safe!

Have a good evening all, i want to sleep and not wake up until Saturday

Tata for now
