Day 17 - Favourite TV Shows

Hiya twinkles, how are you all? Exciting week? I no for me, it has felt like a very very long week, god knows how i am going to survive a full 5 day week next week, urgh! So my weekend involves spending some quality time with the boy, he's cancelled his plans of paintballing this weekend, which was thoughtful of him, so we can spend some time together before he departs for the week on Monday. He's only off visiting family in Manchester, but still, i'll miss him lol

Day 16 - Favourite TV Shows

90210/friends/hellcats/ugly betty/glee

My boyfriend describes the TV i watch as Trash and i do actually agree with him. The tackier the better. I love reality tv, such as gypsy weddings, one born every minute, the hotel.

The tv i watch, depends on what i've got recorded and what is on at the moment. I tend to record Hollyoaks, no matter how ridiculous it gets. Although, that is the only 'soap' i watch. I will go through phases of watching Eastenders, but right now i haven't got a clue what is going on.

Other tv shows include reruns, I loved secret diary of a call girl, lost & ugly betty! Will i be the only one to miss Big Brother this year? Although i have heard channel 5 are possibly taking it on, starting in august?

Day 16 - My Best Friends

Day 16 - A picture of your best friend
This was really hard to choose a picture for, i don't just have 1 best friend, i have a group of best friends and even now i've missed a couple of them off. You may notice they're aren't many girls in these pictures, i get on really well with boys and the girls i do count as best friends, mean the world to me. I met most of these people either through school or down the local pub and have known most of them for a very long time. When you live in a tiny rural village like me, you tend to get to know the people in the village too. I love all these guys in there own special way and they have been a fab bunch of mates to me over the years.

Day 15 - Your biggest regret

Hey lovelies,

Happy Saturday! How are you all? Did you watch the wedding yesterday? Judging by my dashboard EVERYONE watched it, including me! I loved it, Kate looked every inch the princess and the day itself is what fairytales are made of. It was stunning.

I have renamed today 'Make Kylie Beautiful' day. My day is going to consist of fake tan, manicure, hair & make up. I'm off 'clubbing' tonight, which is a first in a very long time! We're going to a karaoke bar, which i got us vouchers of group on. 10 people for 2 hours of karaoke with 2 pitchers of cocktails - £13 instead of £130! Bargain! I'm excited as it's a girly night or what we have renamed 'tampax night' A lot of my female friends have babies and things so it's nice to get them out all in one place again.  

So anyway, i'm half way through my 30 day challenge, are you bored out of your skulls yet?

Day 15 - A picture of your biggest regret

I'm not usually one for regrets, i tend to believe that everything happens for a reason. Yeah i've done some things i'm not proud of and some things i wish i could change, but i'm not going to let these determine my path in life now.

One thing i do regret is not going travelling when i was younger, and i know i'm not over the hill yet and could still go, but i think if i had done this as an 18 year old i would have had the time of my life. If your thinking of going travelling, do it before life gets in the way and you can no longer go.

I was planning on going travelling when i was 18, i had the route mapped out, the costs, flying dates to leave but i didn't have the cash and i was rubbish at saving, so my plans dwindled, then i decided to go to uni and that was it.

Hiya guys,

Just a quickie, excuse the title, but that is what sprang to mind when i thought of 'quickie'. I am actually feeling like death today, work on 3hours sleep and period pains sent from the devil make Kylie a very irritable girl! Meh boys have it so easy!

On a plus note, who else is excited about the impending nuptials tomorrow? I love a wedding, me and a friend are having a pyjama day, in front of the telly box, watching it all happen! Can't beat a bit of romance, plus i can't wait to see the dress!

Day 14 - Current Wish list

Now i'm not one for make up, i don't tend to buy it unless i run out, and then i usually stick to the brands i know. So with that in mind, my make up bag is pretty damn boring!

Update & Day 12

Happy Easter Monday

Hey everyone, if you've had the weekend off, hope it's been lovely and sunny. If you have had to work, hope it's not been too painful. I've got to go back to work tomorrow after over 2 weeks off. Luckily it's only a 3 day week, and it's 'celebrations' week for the royal wedding and our 'outstanding' ofsted. Thursday will see us join together as a school for an outdoor 'party' including fish & chips, ice cream van, bouncy castle, fun & games galore! Can't wait! After school the adults then get to keep on playing, i really do love my school lol

So today i am tying up all the little jobs that should off been done over the last 2 weeks, boring house worky things, best make a start on planning, food shopping!

So onto Day 12 of the 30 day challenge, i'm really enjoying doing this and hoping to keep it up when i go back to work.

Day 12 - Favourite Movie

I'm going to be greedy and choose 2 movies, the list of my favourite films goes on and on and on but just for you i've whittled it down to two.

In the year i was born, one of my all time favourite films was released...1986 saw Topgun fever! The love story, the fights, the cheesy one liners & not forgetting the memorable songs make topgun my go too movie! You've lost the loving feeling is my karoke song.

Hairspray

But not the recent film, the original made in 1988 featuring Rikki Lake & Debbie Harry. This was a film i was brought up on & made to watch as a child by my older sister. I adore this film & have watched it over and over again. I tried to watch  new version a few times and always end up switching it off, it does not compare!

Now everyone who knows me, knows that i am biding my time before i can get married, i love the thought of getting married and everything it stands for. I know this is not every ones cup of tea but for me, it's all I've ever dreamt about.

I would love a traditional church wedding with only my closest friends & family present. I stumbled upon this image on google & although it's gone a bit blurry where i've enlarged it, it is just perfect!

Followed by a bbq on the beach! I would invite all my friends & family to this. I would keep this part of the wedding very low key but i would love a beach front villa, lots of fairy lights & a band playing right on the sand. Unfortunately i can't see that ever happening

I love this dress, but i've got no idea whether it would look good on me or not, but i love the style and the fact it's not too overtly fussy.

Failing all that...a registry office & a buffet will do :)

Now all i need is a ring on my finger!

what a beautiful day, i'm not scared...Day 9

Good morning lovelies,

I am loving my easter break and so don't want to go back to work ever again, well not until the sun goes away anyway i've been enjoying the beautiful weather over the last few days and i am left with some very questionable tan lines, my plan for today is to get out in the garden and tan a little more evenly (using suncream of course)

I've been going a little ebay crazy at the mo, will show you my purchases when they arrive, i think my dress count from there was 6 in one day...whoops!

Day 9 - A photograph of what's in your fridge

Answer - A lot of goodies! It's not usually this stocked full of treats and naughty stuff, but the other half went on a chocolate run last night and came back with all this! If you look really closely you can see the hint of some healthy stuff - mushrooms, pots & tomatoes! As well as a couple of bottles of wine (just cropped of the pic) and some cans of strongbow!

and i thought it wouldn't be right to not include a picture of my man beast, i fancy the pants of him!

Yes we may be sporting the 'Nelly band' but that's only because we were quite merry :)

Flutter like a butterfly, Dream like you can fly + Day 6

Hiya lovelies, how are you all? I am feeling a little bit worse for wear, after a few too many vodkas last night. Note to self, if you haven't drank for a month, you will be a billy lightweight and it will hurt! Just been down to a lil cafe on the beach for a fry up (only place to eat on a Saturday!) It was either going to kill or cure, and i don't think it's done either!

I'm feeling rather old at the moment, and have been reminiscing about being 18 again, where i was out every night, honestly i don't miss it! I miss getting dolled up, the whole getting ready routine, where me & my sis would share a bottle of lambrini while doing our make up etc, how classy of us :) Still to this day, i love lambrini.

So yesterday daytime i spent the day in my pjs, watching crappy tv, online shopping & cooking chops with minted gravy, it was rather delish, i sat at our new dining table to eat, again i felt like a proper grown up!

Oh yeah check out my new hair, well when i say new, all i have done is chuck a dark red dye on it again.

Day 6 - A hairstyle you would like to have
I love everything about this hair, from the colour to the cut to the length. It's slightly ombered with a ginger tint and looks so shiny! In fact i want to steal it and glue it onto my hair, then maybe just maybe i would look like Miss Fox.

Also because i realise that, that hair above is not too far away from my hair (minus the spilt ends, but it's long & brown) i've chosen another style i would love if only i was a little braver!

I will tell you all a little secret - I am Petrified, yes PETRIFIED of the hairdressers. It stems from a really bad haircut when i was 16, think bowl and i haven't been to a hairdresser since. I trim & colour my own hair, but i think a restyle is a lil out of my reach! I have vowed to conquer this fear before i turn 25 (only 3 months away)

Maxi Moo Moo & Day 5

Hi ya lovelies,

So i've had a lovely but busy week this week, so much so i lost track of the days at some point. Yesterday i went and spent the day with my yummy mummy friends & gorgeous lil babies, including a 4 week old baby girl that is just the cutest! So we went for lunch & a play at the local brewsters before heading back to my sisters house for a lil play in the garden.

The total cost of this outfit is under £30! Bargain or what? I love the colours on this dress and it being a maxi dress from the ordinary range and not the tall range means it's not long enough, all is not lost though as i've been wearing it as a skirt! Win!


Day 5 - A Photograph of your pet

Here he is, his name is Flash Gordon, but we tend to call him doodle for some reason. He's a 4y.o Staffie that we adopted of my sister 3 years a go. We absolutely love him (he is our surrogate baby) and is one of the softest dogs going. Staffies definitely don't deserve the bad press they get, not everyone that owns one is a chav! You can see my rant about this here 'Not the average staffie owner'

Taken at V Fest 2008 whilst waiting for Amy friggin Whitehouse to take to the stage (possibly the worst set of the whole weekend) I love how happy and carefree i look :) and the fact i've still got that dress & hat! It's yet another asda dress in case you were wondering :)

It's days like today...

That i'm thankful to live at the seaside :)

This is my beach that is a 2 minute walk from my house, isn't it beautiful! I live in idyllic seaside village, that's a hit with tourists in season (Caravans are not my road friends!) This beach however is a local beach, not many tourists know about this beach and it's a hit for surfers & watersporters when the weather is right. It also means that it not being a controlled beach that the dog can enjoy the beach all year round.

So anyway on to my 30 Day blog challenge..

These are no where near the most expensive or in fact the prettiest but i love these shoe/boot brougue type mid heels. I got them from Primark a couple of years a go, and although i don't tend to wear them that often (i don't wear any heels that often) i love em! They are a bit battered and bruised now :(
