Hey everyone, how are you all?

Thought i would do a quick midweek catch up, I've been off work this week with poorliness, but am finally feeling better and heading back to work tomorrow. During my time dying on the sofa (i had a sickness bug, so wasn't literally dying) i have watched lots of daytime tv. Hello This Morning and Loose Women, I have been reading magazines (Marie Claire, hello freebies & Heat) Playing mindless games (hello dead battery) and drinking lots of coffee.

The bloke is away this week visiting family in Manchester so i have been left to nurse myself better, luckily the doggy is on hand to give cuddles (if you ask him for a hug, he will put his paws on your shoulders aww) and because work have a strict 48hr policy where if you've had sickness you are banished from stepping inside, wahey for an extra day off for me, the house as never looked so clean. I did have to go and visit my parents earlier so i could speak to a human voice, was feeling rather contained! on a good note, chicken wings and wedges for tea, simple food for simple people :)

Anyway sorry for the wordy post, i'm going leave you with a couple of 'awards' i've recieved. It always brings a smile to my face when a person likes your random ramblings enough to give you an award, so thanks guys :)

Well i've been saving 'awards' up or i've just not got around to blogging about them, either one is fine for me.

I want to thank Tina Marie over at Live Free or Die Shopping for the Blogger Luxery Award.

Konad & a catch up!

Hey lovelies,

Sorry for the shocking quality of my posts recently, i don't seem to have enough time in my life to do anything else but eat, sleep and work, i promise to try a little harder! Only another 2 weeks and 3 days until easter break and yes i have been counting! Today we got the very bad news that Ofsted are making an appearence on Thursday and Friday YAY, i am so excited NOT! So lots of very stressed people running around the school followed by lots of awkward lesson observsations and sweaty palms! If you don''t know what i'm on about, please don't worry, i just seem to be rambling.

On a plus note, i have been so good with the losing weight malarky! I have started back at the gym after a good 2 months off and have actually quite enjoyed getting back into it. I managed 40 minutes on the upright bike yesterday, which is a bonus! Today me and my mummy went swimming and i did 50 lengths. Yay go me :) I am on a misson to banish the cupcake belly!

So anyway as promised in my title, i konad-ed my nails for the very first time today. If your not sure what i'm on about have a look on you tube, there are plenty of tutorials and videos on there. Basically is stamping your nails using special nail varnish. I had been collecting bits of ebay over the last couple of weeks and today they all arrived, cue big smiles from me :) So they have turned out a little wonky and the pictures were taken before any clear ups so excuse the mess around the nails.

Firstly i am so surprised at how easy it is, even for a total beginner like me. The nail varinish i used was Collection 2000 Mint choc chip and Collection 2000 top coat. The can i am holding is a my new nail dry spray, which i completely LOVE, so much so it deserves a post of its own.

Have you tried konad? Does it get easier? How long does it seem to last?

Hope you all have a fabby evening
